What goes into a quote
Ask any written figure to name these pieces. If a piece is missing, the figure is incomplete.

Cost depends mainly on the tub you choose and on what installation requires in that bathroom and house. Installation detail: installation reality.
What we cannot say until we see the bathroom
Walkint has no published price sheet. Manufacturer ranges on named brand sites are not installed-job prices and are not Walkint prices. This page does not reprint dollar bands.
Until this home and the selected model are reviewed, we cannot say whether this is a replacement or a remodel; whether plumbing, electrical, the heater, or the floor must move; what permits and finish work apply; or what they find after they open the wall.
Medicare, VA, and financing
Original Medicare does not list walk-in tubs as covered medical equipment, and it treats bathtub seats and grab bars as convenience items. We will not tell you Medicare will pay. Some Medicare Advantage plans offer extra home-modification benefits; those are plan-specific, not guaranteed. Check the current Evidence of Coverage. Sources: Medicare.gov coverage; CMS NCD 280.1.
The VA’s current HISA home-improvement benefit excludes walk-in, sit-down, jetted, and spa-style tubs. Roll-in or barrier-free showers are listed as examples that can meet that program. Other VA housing programs and any individual letter are separate. Source: VHA Directive 1173.14.
Walkint does not offer financing on this page. Medicaid, tax, grants, and other insurance answers need a current official program or a written offer — we will not guess them here.
What Walkint can say from here
Walkint looks at the bathroom and who will use it. We do not put a number on this page. Local notes for Spokane are on Spokane cost factors. Written scope questions are on questions to ask installers.
